S600 Information???

I found a 2003 S600 thru a friend of mine that is selling his car. Is there a good source of information like a dedicated web site that would have option codes performance specs? Tha car has only 8000 miles and is in great shape but it will be a daily driver and I have a 70 mile round trip to work and with 91 OCT at over 3.00 the MPG is definately a concern. The car has AMG rims on it but I'm not sure if the AMG was a sport package or just rims.

Thanks,
PaulF1

you can look thru the mbusa web site and look up info about that model year. performance is the same as 2004 and 2005 if it is bi-turbo.

I have a 2005 s600 and the computer says that i need to add 1L of oil. The car has 4900 miles on it. Can someone please go through the process of how to add oil to the car? I dont want to go all the way to the dealer to have them put oil in for me.

all the cars you list and you don't know where to add oil? under the dash there is a lever to open the front half of the car called the hood. open the hood. look at the top of the thing called a engine and you will see a round cap that screws off. you then add oil into the opening on top of the thing called the engine. or maybe you should just go to the dealer and trade it in.

Thanks for the reply. I usually just have the dealer do it when the service A or B are due. But this is the first time i ever encountered this message so I didnt think it would be necessary to go to the dealer just to add some oil to the car. This is my first time ever going on an internet forum but i must say you guys have some interesting discussions and ill have to check back here and there.
