I just purchased the latest CD's for my 2000 S500. I believe it has the C Command...

THe Cd's that I bought say error reading the cd. I have talked to some people and they say I have to upgrade the software to D or DX?? What do I need to do in order to get this done. SO I can have the latest CD updates..
Please let me know.. so I don't get LOST ! hehe

It might be easier to see if you can trade the NAV-D CDs for NAV-C CDs than to upgrade your software...

You could probably sell the -Ds on this forum if you can't trade them, or see if anyone has -Cs for sale or trade on this forum.

Naeem, is that you? Did you not get the part number for the disc from Steve on Saturday? With that disc you should be able to update your firmware and use the disc's that you have now. I think that Steve said that the disc is only like $10 from the dealer. That will probably be the easiest option being that you have the new cd's already. How did the rest of your install go? Let's see your mods.

John , Hey what's up Bud!! Yeah I am definitely getting addicted now to getting mods.. The Saturday experience with Steve was an eye-opener. I will post pics.. soon.. I am out of town for a few days.. will do so when i get back. I called the dealer though.. and they don't know what CD I was talking about I just wanted to see if anyone else knew about the conversion to D command. Talk to you soon..
