Hi,
I was hoping someone could tell me if and how you retrofit the OEM MB tail lights from a 2004 W220 to a 2000 W220. Are they automatically plug and play compatible?

Yes they are plug and play. The only thing is you may have to shift one of the screw posts to another (existing) location.
