Nav question....
On my '04 S500 (DVD Data) is there a way to input a "way point" location that may not have a proper street address. An example of this would be a new home or office building that is not yet on the data DVD.
My Garmin Street Pilot will do it and I have had it for 4 years. Surely there is a way to input a location any where with the MB set up.

I had my car in for a quick adjustment at the dealer this AM and asked this question of a couple of mechanics. Basicaly they told me that if a location isn't on the DVD then the NAV can't find it. There is no way to input a way point that isn't programed into the DVD.

If you already know the location, there are two ways to do this. One is to drive to it, and save your current location (name it). The other is to locate the spot by using the map coordinates, and saving that location with a name.

Sort of off topic, but didn't want to waste a new thread....
Anyone know what the two little LED lights are for right above the NAVI button? I have never seen them illuminated, and there is nothing in the manual about them.
Anyone?
