Rims almost coming off??

Well I was parking my car on the street where the driveways are all slanted which makes it easier for cars to park without eating the curb and when I looked at the rear wheek while it was sitting partially on the curb it seemed to be flat at the very bottom as if the tire was going to pop out? Although the side wall of the tire did sort of rubbed on the sidewalk there was no damage to the rim since the side walk was slanted, I double checked the the pressure and it seemed fine after driving around the block. Does anybody know what would cause this? Could it be the angle that my tire was sitting on the curb or is my tire low on air pressure? Thanks

yup its the angle of your car sitting on the curb, and since you checked your tire prssure everything should be fine.

Hey Linuxfoo thanks for the reply. I guess next time I will avoid parking like it up on those type of curbs while riding on lowpro tires w/ wide rims. It just looked really weird almost as if the rim was sticking out of the tires when it is actually flat. I'm running Toyo Proxies 275/35/20x10 in the rear.

yes,

the angle of the curb is putting all the weight of that quarter portion of the vehicle onto the sidewall instead of speading it out evenly on the tire.
