Nicely said, mitviet.

The fog light on just one side is a European practice. The sensors that tell you that you have a light out are set up for that, and the sockets are different from left to right for the fog light position vs the non-fog light position (socket 4 in the diagram at post #5, http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220...-problems.html).

One might be able to run an additional wire, as the member suggested - and put the fog light socket in place on the side that does not have one - but I have no idea what that might do to the bulb continuity check system. I also don't know if the circuit board is the same, left to right.

Here, as you point out, emergency blinkers are often used in dense fog.

Again, keep your comments and opinions to yourself If you can't answer the question. There is a fine art to minding your business. Giving your unnecessary opinion is a form of bullying. Trying to make someone feel stupid or wrong for asking a question is inappropriate. That is exactly what some people do by offering their unsolicited opinions or views of others questions. No one is coming to this site for opinions. They are coming to get help and answers to questions.

You seem 1) to learn slowly, and 2) have no difficulty offering your own opinions here. It is a public forum. You don't get to tell folks not to post here. You are simply inviting more by continuing this line of responses.
