ABS, BAP, and ESP lights came on

ok, about a month ago, i took my '00 s500 into autobahn in burlingame for service. i also told them that my above lights came on and it said go visit workshop. they told me that, from my serive receipt "front aim matic struts are leaking c/s air matic warning light came on. found code c1517-001. critical vehicle level at front axle pay attention to strip found front air matic struts leaking air from seals r/r repari both front struts is a dtb with repair kit sealing compound check for leak s after repair ok clear codes and recheck for codes no codes found after that.

im assuming that was just for the airmatic warning. as far as the esp and bas lights, it say they were unable to duplicate.

now, is the dealer gonna screw me? i think they will reason being that on one of the lines, it says check flushes and advise. i rememeber that the dealer said that i needed to have the flushes done for rad, and brake fluid. i didnt tell him that they were done last year and he just said that i had to do them again. do i have any recourse regarding the airmatic if it is the airmatic again? what are the other problems associated with the ESP BAS and ABS lights? does anyone know what it could be?

thanks
angel

Sometimes those ESP, BAS, ABS lights come on when the battery is disconnected. I'm not sure if that was your case but in that instance, turning your steering all the way to the left and then all the way to the right clears these errors but only if they were caused by a disconnected battery. Try that and see if it's the case.

wow,

so that will clear the codes? anyway, the lights are now gone. i pressed the reset button to see what it does and they are off. they have been off now for a few start ups. should i worry? i have 5000 miles left on my extended warrantee.

You don't need to worry about the ESP, BAS.... warnings if they go away by turning the wheel left to tright and back. Sometimes this failure also comes if the tire have not suffiecient air pressure and one wheel shows different rpm than the other. I guess you need to worry much more about the service report. It seems there is a major airmatic issue to be fixed before the warrenty ends!!!!!!!!! RIGHT?

yeah. no issues with the airmatic anymore and hopefully i will not have anymore with the airmatic. today, my wife said the esp and the bap came on again. when she came home, i checked it and they were off. i had just put on new rims and tires that benznodubz sold me. how would the cpu figure out if these tires were low on air. the are 35's.

thanks
