3 malfx warning lights after batt change

3 malfx warning lights after batt change
hi,
have a 01 s500, battery fluids low on 4 cells, got new batt from dealer, $130, put the new one in; now have 3 malfx msg; BAS, airmatic, and something else.say's visit stealer....
is there a way to reset this? or was there another way to change the batt.? like having a 9V batt into Cigarette plug trick? etc....
advice/comments would be appreciated...
hope to avoid going to dealer to reset those....

when my batt died, i had a few malfunctions, but 2 of them were taken care of by some kinda reset or something, and the airmatic was the bigger problem. Turns out, the pump went bad and ran the bill up to about 1900.

mx lights
well, i decided to try some of those above methods....
i started the car again, backed out and drove around the block and all mx lights are out; no malfx now ! oh well....
anyway, guess will check the batt water level from now on....at least once a year...
got 5yrs out of that battery so can't complain....
it's out of warranty....wander if they would still do the batt change for me, if i knew about it/asked ?!?

Hi guys,
if you swap the battery there 2 methods. One is hook the car up to a aux. power supply to prevent memories and settings to get lost. The old fashioned way is causing several memories and settings go to waste and need new calibration.
ESP, BAS, ABS, and a few more require to turne the steering wheel (engine running) from far left to far right and back. All the waring disappear after this excersice
Secondly the seting for the sun roof and the power windows go. You need to open all te windows and the sun roof by constantly pressing the open button until the window/roof reaches the maximum point.
After every thing is ok again.
