Lightbulb 2002 Bumper Fogs

hello gents, i have a question, my father and i are hunting for some mercedes bumper foglights for the w220 model, year 2002, he bought the car without them, then again , i think all cars come without them? but anyways, yea if any of you know where i can find these, and how to install them, such as if u need wiring or if it is already there and such, kinda like a little DIY if possible.

thanks guys, your help would be greatly appreicated

Your W220 already has fog lights. They are integrated in the headlights. To activate them you need to switch on the low beam (manually!) and pull the light switch. The first "click" switches on the front fog lights, the second "click" the rear fog light (only one on the driver side).
For the standard W220, I don't of any bumper fog lights at all. If I'm not completely mistaken the AMG version (different shape bumper) has fog lights in the bumper.

as bamberger has put it, your father's car would have the foglights already.

but if you want to have bumper foglights, then you'd have to contact carlsson. they sell fogs that replace the plastic mesh that you have at each side of the front bumper.

to give you an idea, here's a picture of the carlsson fogs installed on mine.

Wow... I see it now. Nice !! I would love to buy something from Carlson, however I don't know German. Can you help me ? I would love some of those fog lights. Also. I notice yours doesn't have the traditional Mercedes hood symbol either. Mine is the same. (posting some pics today). Do you know why that is? Is this a special model or something? I kind of like the traditional one. Anyone know how much it would cost to get? Is this something I can do myself?
Thanks.

Where are you located? Here is the website for US carlssonproductsusa.com, or PM Benznodubs I think he installed foglights in his car (Carlsson a little bit spendy). There are MB tuners that put foglights in their bumper : Brabus, Lorinser. About the hood emblem, some people like the clean look and some people like the classic look. You can check to dealership about the price.

You might want to PM Benznodubs, he has fogs in his bumpers (Carlsson a little bit spendy).

I am on my 3rd different set.. You have to buy the mesh cut out from MB when you want to change etc. Here is a thread where I show some of the lights that I have used and will fit.

Dude, you don't HAVE to go with carlsson at all if you just want bumper fogs. There are so many different solutions to getting bumper fogs. In fact, you can get some compatible PIAAs and wire them yourself.

And no, AMG S-classes don't have bumper fogs either.
