2011 S550 4matic
03 S 500

I'm in the process of purchasing an 03 S500 4matic, the dealer selling me the car has said he heard a squeaking noise over every bump so he took it in to MB for service and they there is no problem with the suspension and the noise no longer appears when i test drove it. Should i be worried or should i not be concerned since i dont hear anything? Second question dealer also said when car heated up and put car in reverse there is a squeak and loud thump from the right brake- like its stuck, MB service said no problem found. and i didnt hear anything after several test drives. What could it be and should I be concerned?

I would be concerned. If there isanythiong popping up later $$$$$$$$$$$. It sounds to me as if the parking brake or the brakes itself are stuck sometimes. If the parking brake is applied and the car goes over bumps or you just push the the car when parking there are some squeeks coming from the rear brakes. This is normal, but should never happen if the parking brake is open. Sounds like stuck calipers or so.

The squeaky sound is coming from the ball joints. This was a common problem with earlier models (00-02). As far as the other stuff, Bamberger1 is right.
