Steering wheel

today i noticed a cranking/sweaking nose as i turn the wheel all the way to one side while parking, samething for the other sides. anyone got any ideas to what it is, hope its not costly

Does the noise sound like plastic rubbing on plastic? If yes, it may be the bearing of the steering columb entering the gear box. It is a known culprit. It has been replaced in my car w/o charge. I guess there may be a DC-warranty-plan if customers ask for and the dealer supports the claim. It is a larger exercise, since the engine train has to be lowered.
