6000k hid bulbs make a difference?

i see that some ppl buy them..and they are routinely sold on ebay, but do they make a difference? do they look that much better? does anybody have any pics to compare?

Just check Google there are plenty of sites comparing different light temperatures. Around 4000K is standard. The higher the number the more blue the light gets. The higher the value you loose significant night vision. For example in Europe the maximun allowed is ~5000K (can be also only 4500K I'm not sure) due to that reason. The 6000K, 8000K and the 10,000K are allowed for show cars only.
