i drive them all, fast and hard
thinking of a 2006 S500

so i was at the dealer today to drive the new s550. It was nice but it didnt feel all that much faster or different that the s500 we have. Basically not all that it was raved to be. I wasnt too keen on the whole idrive kinda feature through the computer.

anyways, the dealer had a 2006 s500 with sport amg package rear trunk closer for about 88K,
the question is, do they are would they drop the price significalntly to get it out . like 10 - 15K.
this is fletcher jones in cali
and we have bought 3 previous cars from them and have a good relationship withthe sales guys.

If 88K is the list? Then MB is giving the dealer 10K to make the sale, so if I was in the market I would ask about 18K off sticker and see if they bite. Good luck!

Fletcher should give you $15,000 off in the blink of an eye. Almost seven months ago Fletcher gave me more than that off on my '06 S 430 sport with an MSRP of $83663. When you negociate tell them you know about the $10,000 in the trunk, want $20,000 off and settle at $17-18,000. From my past experience, if you're serious and ready to jump they are not going to let you leave and you will end up with a good deal.

If Nevada Jack's '06 S430 is still at Glauser in Denver..it's a steal at $63~$65K...only had 3600 miles when he traded..just a thought.

I think it has been sold sprink...last I saw they had it down to $61,700! I checked when I got back from my trip and it is no longer listed...either sold or auctioned.

Now how cool would it be if a member here bought it.
