Has anyone else had this problem? This is the 2nd time. The first time my dealer said the moonroof has 2 water runoff drains and they were clogged so that is why water was leaking into the headliner and then dripping onto the passenger makeup mirror and onto the floor. They charged me $180 to clean the drain and then dry my headliner.

Well, 2 months later...same thing again...but it wasnt raining that hard at all last night. My car is garaged and the moonroof is never opened unless i am driving so i dont think it could have gotten clogged again. Plus i guess i was never able to test to see if the dealer fixed the probelme the first time since my car has been in a garage ever since

Now the car is at a dealer here in mpls...hoping they can find the problem.

dont' worry. This will be a free fix if it turns out to be the same problem. All work by the dealership is warrantied for 12 months. Read the fine print on the invoice from last time you got the sunroof fixed.

Okay, good but really, i dont think it can be the same problem...i dunno

[Update]: Dealer just called me. They opened the moonroof, took out the rear vanity mirrors, ran over 4 gallons of water through the runnoff drains and nothing leaked into the car. what the heck? without taking out the headliner, they cannot diagnose the problem. So now i pay for something that didnt help... and then i have to wait and take it back to my dealer in des moines...to have them try again. do you think they are going to charge me again?

thats what they said last time, and they charged me to clean the lines. but 2 months later, same thing..my car is garaged so i never had a chance to verify if it still leaked. different merc dealer tested the drain lines and ran 4 gallons of water through them and no leaks!

Beautiful GF and car. Looks just like mine--the car I mean...

I've read of leak problems before, but none like yours. Please keep us informed--just in case mine ever leaks.

More closeups of GF please.

I just noticed you car, and want to compliment you on the clear bumper lights on the front. I have them too, and am surprised how much they improve the looks of the car. Good taste my friend!
