S350 with 3.7 engine/240HP - US or not?
Is this version coming to the US as a 2003 model. Is this engine based on the current 3-valve/twin spark engines or the new Direct Injection engines?

It's not listed in any official scheduling for the US market for MY03 or MY04. Everything is subject to change but I would highly dought it will make the boat trip. ...RAB

I agree, I hope they do not bring the S350 to North America aswell. Rather than seeing 200 S-Classes on the road everyday, I will see 500 if they bring over the S350.

I would believe that a pretty strong business case could be made for the S350 4matic. Positioned at say the mid sixties. Mind you that might cannabilize sales of the much higher margin e500 4matic. I know if it were here today it would get my immediate serious attention. I have two growing teenage boys and I'm not sure the E-class has the head room they will need. I live in New England and we need 4wd and I don't need a second ML.
