Trunk

I have a 2001 S430..I put a new wood steering wheel on and noticed that the sunroof had to be reprogrammed due to the battery being disconnected. The trunk opens and closes by the trunk release on the trunk itself but I cant open or close it from the switch below the window switches...do I need to reprogram this also and if so how?..thanks

The mechanic that put mine in said the airbag can go off..he didnt even want anyone to sit in the driver's seat when he hooked the battery back up when he was finished
