Mercedes Comand
The 2003 S Class will have the new Comand.....is the navigation part automatically linked to the Comand and working? I thought it would be for sure..but read an article that claimed that was standard only with the S 600 and optional on all the other models.
Also, is the Comand not availalbe any more with the E class for this year?

The Comand system basically controls most of the electronical features, including the navigation, radio, phone, TV (If you're one of those lucky folk in the UK 
), and the tape deck (It is James Bond like ).
The Comand system is such a part of the car, I couldn't imagine driving any car without Comand, or something similar.
You cannot get Comand on a W211 E-Class until after January built cars, I beleive.
