"AC on" switch off??
Hi,
Since yesterday, my 2001 S430's "AC off" switch next to the digital gauge under the screen is not turning on. It was working fine in the morning. But all of a sudden that red little light on it came on stating it is off. and generally by pressing it the AC turns on. but no matter how I press, the AC is not engaging. Any clue? Could it be just a fuse OR something major?
Thanks whoever wants to advice.

...your system is low on freon (or whatever is in there nowadays). same thing happened to my 01clk55. it's a safety override that if the system is too low, it won't let the compressor turn on otherwise it could burn out the compressor.- hope this helps.
