comand screen
Can anyone tell me what is the cause of these white lines on my comand screen and how to get rid of them. They are there on all settings ie,Tel,Radio,and CD player.

i have the same problem with mine but its just one line, i think you just have to get a whole new command, its seems like the pixels are broken mines vertical by the far side of the screen and when the screen is light as in ur pic u dont see it just at the bottom where its blue but wen its on the night/blue screen u see the whole thing. idk how it happened nothing hit it

Well managed to get a new screen from blauspirit_de in Germany via E-Bay. Bit of a pain paying for it, as he whon't take Paypal, only wire transfares to his bank. Bought a T8 torx bit and went to work. Managed to fit it last night and after a bit of cursing and shouting I got the whole thing back together again, but I hope I never see another ribbon cable. Reinstalled it today and all works perfect, no lines at all, nice clear and crisp screen. Not the easiest of jobs and thin fingers are recommended, but if you take your time and make sure all those ribbon cables are seated properly then its not to difficult.
