I have a police Air-Horn installed inside my bumper and controlled with a remote control, that I beleive is the right place to install horns since there is a lot of space (especially when there is no Parktronic) and no one can find it under the hood if they search.
P.S. It is against the law to use these so bumper is best place. I've been stopped several times by cops, they just look under the hood and I convince them by using the regular horn saying it wasn't me.

I suppose you're asking me. Well first of all I don't have a train horn. I have an air-horn (the one that fire trucks and police are using).
I don't need anything bigger or louder than that. It sounds very federal to anyone and people usually get out of the way and change lanes easily. With trane horn It's vice versa - you get people instantly mad and not co-operating.

As to your question. I've been stopped because a cop heard me coming with air-horn along with several other cars that made way for me. I insisted It wasn't me, open up the hood, using my original horn located on the steering wheel and he lets me go. Since I have this horn seperately remote controled they will never find it. I seriously doubt you're getting away with using the train horn in public area, especially If you pull that on a cop. Like I said It is against the law.
