I notice after getting my rear bumper cover repaired a long black wire that is hanging from underneath the rear bumper cover on the passenger side. Also, I am getting these "Rear Fog Lights" and "Alternate Tail L" messages. Could this be related to the wire hanging down? I can push it under the cover and its stays for a while but after driving it comes down again. Anyone know what this wire is?

Ensure your rear light plugs are not loose. That can cause the errors to appear. Pull back the trunk liner by the lights and push those plugs tight. As for the wire hanging, we need pics to be able to determine what that may be.
