It's an 03 and has about 70k on it. It's graphite grey metallic/tan interior with every option I could imagine.........parktronic, heated/cooled/massaging seats, NAV, etc. Car is in great shape.

I am stoked. Traded the E430 and can't wait. Picking it up on Friday.

Now......just need some AMG 18" wheels.

Congratulations & welcome to our side of the world. We have our issues but we love our cars and share a lot of info. I know how you feel about the rims...they really make or break the appearance of these cars. I swear...I went to pick up a set of 18" AMG split spokes for mine but when I saw the Brabus vi wheels next to them I was in LOVE . Everyone has there own taste.

OK...lesson No.1. The AMG/Sport Package was offered as an option on W220 cars from 03 (I think) that added a broader front air dam, ground effect rockers and a sportier rear bumper with a recess. Also included were the AMG rims. The standard package did not include any of the above and came with 16" or 17" rims with H rated tires depending on the year. The Sport Package was available in the US on S430's and S500's...I'm not sure about the S600. Don't confuse this with the S55 & S65 AMG cars for which we have a separate forum. You will have a lot of questions in the beginning...but that's ok...we all did. If you don't get a quick response don't worry. You can always do a search and find an answer.

I was going for AMG 18" split spokes. Don't get me wrong, they look wonderful. But then I saw the Brabuses and I was sold!

Just like newton22, i have a 04' S430 with AMG pack , and i went to the wheel shop to ask for some polish liquid for the wheel and then saw a set of 20' Lowenhart LDR...... i was "liquided", paid almost 3500 for rims and tires and have them put on right away, now my car is "flawless" , ( the AMG set still sitting at home)

I'm probably going to go for a new set of wheels to replace the AMG's, but I'm not in a big hurry as I still like the "factory" look. Can't decide between something in chrome or go with black with a polished rim like Newton 22's. Then again, a shop in my city has a new all black wheel that comes with the MB star in the center. With a window tint it should look outstanding.
Hey Newton 22, which Brabus wheel do you have on your car? The SoCal Brabus store is just around the corner from where I work.
Anybody know what a clean set of AMG's could sell for?

authentic amg rims sell for 2k+ and replicas on ebay are between 600 and 1800

I still need the AMGs! Just brought this bad boy home last night. Damn is this a nice car. Wife drove it to pick up dinner for a small gathering we had and now wants to trade me her X5..........
