Problem with xenon headlight! ! ! !
This has been frustrating me for too damn long! My right headlight would shine a halogen like white color while my other xenon light would emit the normal bluish hue. I tried replacing the bulbs but repeatedly when the lights were turned on they'd both start blue then the right headlight would quicky fade to that pale yellow once again.
Therefore I was told the problem had to be the xenon ballast. I bought one from a reputable seller on eBay and spent a good amount of time and frustration taking out the headlight and swapping the ballast. Once I put the headlight back in and start the car up I find that the problem is exactly the same as before and I'm back to square one.
Can someone tell me if there could be anything else responsible for this problem or is it that the new ballast I just bought must be defective as well??????
Thanks

1. HID Bulb (which you tried so that is out)
2. Ballast ( which you swapped out but possibly bad as well ?)
3. Ignitor (which is the square metal part that connects to the bulb could be bad or corroded)
You have to have those ballast's and that amp checked out somewhere because it has to be one of them.
