A black 2002 model S500
Update: Getting an S500 on 7/2 - what I'm going to do:
Sorry for the belated response - but here's where I now stand:
Pictures of my S500 will be up in two weeks. The pictures, particularly of the interior, will blow you all away and prompt thunderous applause for what I've done :-)
W220 Metallic Obsidian Black S 500.
I won't tell you what is being done to the interior but here's the exterior:
FRONT:
1) Hood ornament replaced with flat CL emblem
2) Chrome Headlight Rings
3) SEC Lorinser Grill w/out Distronic - Blackened Out Completely, save for the Star
4) DTM Front Bumper with Fog Lamps. Mesh painted "Black Candy." Also, very thin and amply spaced stainless steel mesh attached in front of DTM mesh.
5) Reflectors - Taken off and replaced with filling, painted Obsedian Black (Identical to European Strip Markers which are impossible to obtain).
SIDE:
1) Front: 9 x 20 Chrome LM 5 Lorinser Rims w/Pirelli;
Rear: 10 x 20 of the Same
2) DTM Lorinser F1 Fenders (Same adjustment to the Mesh described above).
3) DTM Lorinser Side Skirts (See above for Mesh).
4) Lorinser Emblems on each side of Fender, right and left
REAR:
1) Chrome Strip - Original Chrome strip above license plate blackened out.
2) Lorinser Emblem on upper right side
3) Rear Lights - colored - now a monochrome, rich colored red.
4) DTM Lorinser Rear Bumper (See above for Mesh adjustment)
5) Lorinser Exhaust
Now, then, anyone can put the above on their S, but the interior will blow you away, trust me. You'll be proud to be an S Class owner in two weeks, baby. Just wait for the pictures. You can view them on here, OR, well, you can view them in a couple of national car magazines that will "also" have some pics of the car.
