Hey... check it out: http://www.xipi.net/live/onethirty.h...lick_through=0

Took some time to put together, but the final result is nice. You might need to give it a second to load, but it should play without a problem.

All video is my original material.

Very nice video. Great job.
So how do you mount the camera in your car?

Does anyone know of any good mounts that can be purchased for regular cameras?

Again, The stability of the picture when you were filming your speedo was pretty incredible.

Had a tripod, I jimmied two of the legs between the passenger seat and the center console and the other leg flat on the floor... did not move an inch.

Nice movie, Oxygen
what you did in the last sequence of the film would cost you the license for some months plus a fine of about 400$ or more (in Germany) even we have no speed limits on most autobahns, there is NOOOOOOOOO way passing someone on the right w/o being heavily fined.

what would be the fine and suspension for driving 120mph on 55mph road in the USA (if you get caught)?

No one has an issue with weaving through traffic at over 100mph? What am I missing?

Love the car, the speed is your business, but you are taking risks for others driving like that. Don't do something that could get others killed..........

Why does everyone keep saying that? What about the THOUSANDS of other videos online of people driving on the highway faster than normal and changing lanes... I did not hit any one, was not planning on it and will not, I was simply changing lanes and it might a little more intense on the video than it really was in real life.

I was not asking for anyone to play the Police, simply wanted to show you a video that I made... and in any case, who said I was even driving?

You posted in a forum that I frequent and that's why I responded. I might not respond to other videos on the net because they don't post in a w220 forum but that doesn't make it right. You said "check it out".... I did, and that's my opinion.... Deal.

It's actually a stretch on that bridge back there. When I do this it's usually just me by myself on the road. I'm not crazy, just love to push when I feel like.

No kidding, he went past the limiter by a 1 mph.

The S500 is a lot quicker than the S430. Dang. Oxygen, you need a set of nice 20s on that for the summer.

Haha because of all the smart people who designed the car... it was a tad downhill, so it hit 131MPH but the car resonded by laying off the throttle, like it could not give me that 1 extra MPH!

I agree with LetsJet. It's one thing to test the limits of your car on a wide open road with nobody else around and another to do it while other traffic is on the road all around you. Of course you don't intend to hit anyone--that would be idiotic. However, you have no idea what other drivers are going to do and the faster you drive the more reduced your reaction time would be if another driver does something unexpected. If I see someone in my rearview mirror flying up on me I'm going to get over to the far right lane. By the time we both notice that the other is changing lanes it might be too late. (fatality rate per accident goes up with speed too).

Believe me, I love driving fast too...but there's a time and a place.

Yeah, but when you tell this to a woman, men can bleed from getting slapped or bruised when punched.

Not really. Before we had our S430 4Matic, my family had a RWD S500. Driving them back to back, there was a difference, but I couldn't say the 500 was much quicker from the seat of the pants feel. Still, both accelerate nicely, and many drivers on the road tend to underestimate these luxury sedans.

Kenstudios, that's a pretty solid 500 you have there. Even on wet roads, it's still faster to 60 than advertised.
