Extended warranty for 04 S600
I searched this forum and scoured the internet for different companies, almost no one seems to cover this vehicle, anyone had any luck getting a reputable extended warranty company to cover an 04 S600 thats still under factory warranty?
I tried Mercury since they are high recommended by 100s, but they say they dont offer it for the S600 which does make sense since they do the S55 AMG, not much different in costs of the two and repair costs.
Any help would be appreciated.

it's similar to cpo coverage; engine, drivetrain are covered along with some other stuff while glass, plastic, etc. excluded. you can choose between no or some deductible. dealership deals directly with them so you don't have to. i don't know if they do S600s but it may be worthwhile to check them out.

Back when we had a 2001 S600, we purchased an extended warranty thru warrantydirect.com. I think we bought it around 2005 before the factory warranty expired. We sold that car a year ago, but had no problems with repairs.

In the meantime I got a call from a warranty company that I emailed and he said there is one company that does warranty the S600, its WarrantyAmerica LLC. He said they offer whats basically near the CPO Bumper to Bumper except it doesnt cover paint and wear and tear. They quotes me about $3000 for a 4yr/75k mile for it. Thats not bad, just gotta research these guys and make sure they a stand up company and not one that will fold on me in the time of need.

I had a similar problem with warrantydirect.com, but the sales rep for the company was able to help me out, and after everything, get me the warranty I needed. After buying three warranties from this company, and this rep, I have only good experiences with them. You can reach him (Frank) at 800-632-4222, x1418. Tell him Shawn Dua referred you and he'll try to work it out for you. Good luck!

I just put mine under a 3/yr 60k mile warranty. If it all works out ok, I'll post the info. I'm still waiting on the paperwork.

7yr/70k (from in service date) Maximum Care (almost bumper to bumper type) is about $2025 for a $0 deductible. Thats alot cheaper than $4k that most want.
And this is Chrysler so its not going to be fold anytime soon. Might go with them after doing a bit of research make sure no one complained about denying service.

Called Michael and got good news, they cover both the S55 and S600 benzes. And for a reasonable price.

That's who I used, not Micheal though another person recommended, and your price seems better than mine.....
