Lowered S55 on adjustable links
Here are some pictures. I lowered it enough to where its probably a 1/2" or more gap between top of tire and fender. Im waiting for my 20" DPE wheels to sent to me, so will take some new pictures once I get them in and on the car.

I was thinking about making adjustable links myself Plenty of part in the mcmaster carrr catalog to try. but expense of trial and error kept me away from it. I wasnt going to market it so I just stay with the washer and extension method. its adjustable enough.
Did you need to use all 4 !?
rear has a slider and only 1 sensor on my 2002.

They are NOT preadjusted, you have to adjust them in length wise to suit your drop level. Each 5mm in length (compared to stock length) adjusts the drop about 1/2 to 3/4".

By the way, I called the company,( nice guy) cars with ABC have 4 links. Cars with normal Airmatic have only 3 links.
The rear you have to make shorter to drop it, I did only 5mm in the rear to get about 3/4" drop since the rear doesnt have as much as a gap as the front. Yea the guy is very nice guy.

Your car looks just right.
I am very excited, I have been on the fence with the various electronic kits and this will fit the bill. If I blow a shock, I can put it back to stock for warranty. My dealership is not very mod friendly, which is funny because it is owned by Bobby Rahal!
Thanks for the review, I almost missed it because you put it in the regular W220 section.
