When the car is on can you open the trunk?
I know this is probably in the manual, but it's been so slow in here I thought I'd post.
I had the car running when I stepped out of the car. With the drivers door open, I went to the back and pressed the auto open button on the trunk, but it wouldn't open. I then went to the button on the drivers door and that didn't work either, so I put what I was going to put in the trunk, into the back seat and drove away. The next day I decided to check and see if there was some problem, so with the car off, doors closed, I pressed the auto open button on the trunk and it opened just fine.
Can you not open the trunk with the car running? What was I doing wrong?

This might be like when I got the car and couldn't figure out how to "keyless go" into the aux position. Everytime I pressed the button the car would start. I thought if I just pressed quickly it would go to aux and not start. Just picture me trying to press quicker and quicker before I went back to the owners manual and realized I needed to take my foot off the brake........

I just went down stairs to find a different parking spot and to get my case of water out of the trunk. It works but you have to hit the door unlock button in order to do so.

Yes, tested today..........
I drove away and the car auto locked after hitting 15mph. Then I had to turn around and go back. When I got out to open the trunk I didn't realize the car needed to be unlocked before the button worked.
Now I know........
