What is Service B?
I was wondering if anyone knows what is done during a "service B" on a 2001 S430. My mileage will be around 105K when it's due I think. And does anyone know how much this service would cost? Do I need to go to the dealer or is a place that specializes in Benz and Beamers suitable?

I think if you go to http://www.mbusa.com you will see what a "B" service involves for your car. There also might be an explanation in your owner's manual.
As to the price, my recent "B" on my 2001 E320 was about $350.00.
