Hey Y'all,
I asked the guys in the new E-Class forum, and they suggested a place called mbspy. I tried that site, but was unable to find the intel I'm seeking.
Can any of you here in the S-Class forum help me?
I'm wondering when the next major redesign of the S-Class is expected. I know the E-Class just had their first one since 1995 or so, and that the S-Class just got a recent facelift with this new model year, but I'm wondering if there are any rumors as to when the next S-class exterior re-design will be.

Well you chose the perfect place to ask that question ElDiabloJoe! The website you want is www.mbspy.com . Once you're there a welcome page will come up and just click anywhere on it and you'll be able to enter. You'll find what you want there including a few computer designed photos. According to that site the next redesigned S-class should debut in 2005!(Prayfully!)

I'm only speculating, but I would say that the car will be out in late '05 as an '06 model. The current body was out in '99 as a '00 & as we all know MB generally keep styles about 6 yrs. Again, this is only me thinking out loud.

The New S Class will start production in late 2005 meaning cars will probably roll out in Germany in 2006 and we will get them here in mid 2006....probably best to let a few production runs go by before we get ours.
I would rather get a 2007 model in 2006 than to be the first...everyone of my buddies who purchased a 2000 S Class has had several issues....The 2003 S Class is a good choice for now.

Actually, I could do a new E500, but I'd have to refi the beach cottage and I'm not so sure I wanna do that.
