OBD II Gas Cap Code
What is the gas-cap code for the OBD II reader? My check engine sign went up. I think the dealer is doing some stuff with my car to get me to go back and get ripped off for a $300 check up!
There are visible scratches on my gas door (exterior) like a lever mechanism was used to jam it open.
I suspect its the gas cap because after refueling did the C.E.S light up.
Also, should there be water (rain water) lining the gas cap, shouldn't the gas door protect the water from getting in. I understand the water isn't getting in the gas TANK but I don't think it should be around the cap!
