Hi I have a 2001 s500 and want to make it faster. I don't have a lot of knowledge in this field so if anyone can give me suggestions it would be appreciated. Also I would like to upgrade the rims.
Give me some options.

MBs are very expensive to upgrade. The cheapest and most satisfying way is probably to trade the car in on a 2001 S55. You'll get another 50 HP, bigger wheels and tires, and a lot of other changes to go with those. Even better, trade it in on a 2004 S55 and get almost 200 HP.

Individual upgrades are never as satisfying because MB/AMG designs an entire balanced package.
