KNN Air Filter increase gas mileage on S?
Anybody replace their factory air filter with the one? They claim that you'll get more mpg.

I have K&Ns. The only difference you will notice is that the car is a bit louder at WOT.

Stay with stock.

Probably worse. more cool air = more gas = more hp, not mpg. I love them and run them in all my cars.

ps. S-Class takes 2 filters

KN filters have some type of oil that finds it's way into your MAF and you will be replacing that MAF soon. Just stay with oe.

My K&N equiped cars run great, and haven't had any problems. The gas mileage has improved, but my cars have also had ECU tuning that makes them more efficient. Most of our clients have concurred wih increased mileage.

I agreed........ Stock is best on the S-Class. K&N will get the oil onto the MAF (according to my local dealership). So, I returned them and remain stock.

Good thing I read this thread, I was going 2 buy the k and n filters. Want good gas mileage? Check ur tire pressure regularly.
