Hi,

I've a Carlsson CM60 -00(based on W220, S500) and when I came out this morning(drove the car last night and all was fine) the front of the car was basically hanging on the front 20" wheels.

Thought that once I start the car the compressor would raise the front but unfortunately not, the display just tells me to stop as the car is too low.

I checked the compressor and it runs for like 30 sec and then it stops but the front is not raising.

I want to take the car to the local Carlsson dealer but in this state you cant even take it on a flatbed as the car is just too low.

Any ideas?

I replaced a leaking rear strut last week for $900.00(parts only) and now the left front is leaking. The part is another $900.00. If you call the tow company and tell then its lowered they have ways of getting it on without damaging the car. Just dont turn the wheels as they will bend the fenders. Im trying to get more info on the rebuilding of the struts as its alot cheaper. Look for the thread that talks about this.

I had both my front struts replaced as one was leaking heavily(rubber seal in the bottom part of the strut was basically shot out) and the seal of the other strut was on it's way out as well.

Will check the other thread for possible options of rebuilding a strut as I kept the old ones...
