auto seats

why dont my seats move back and forward I have them set in the convenience feature but only the steering wheel moves up and down when entering and exiting. I've looked on the threads and tried EVERYTHING moving seats back and holding switch for a few seconds and same reverse still nothing.
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The seat moves only if you're short. It doesn't bother moving it back if the driving position is further back than a certain threshold. You can confirm it's working normally by storing a position that's fairly forward and then removing the key.

Ps

I just remembered that only the wheel moves for the easy-exit feature prior to 2004. If your car is older, I wouldn't expect the option for seat movement to be present. Did you get your cluster replaced? If so, it sounds like they version coded it to display an option that isn't supported.

Sometimes retrofitting clusters will enable "newer" functions, but usually it doesn't work that way.
