Hi folks
Just purchased a one owner 2000 s430 with 33,000 miles (ex US state dept. car). Went for a front end alignment, and was told I needed front lower control arms. Yikes at 33k?! Fortunately the dealer is paying for the replacement. I was told that there was a "product update" on these and it actually should have been done earlier in the car's life. Any insight on this? Was MB replacing lower control arms.

Otherwise the car in magical. Quite and upgrade from my '83 380SE.
