HELP:Install brake wear sensors '02 S500

Anyone have any insight on installing brake sensors on 02 S500?? Is is relatively easy? My warning light has come on regarding brake wear and the dealer I bought it from sent me 2 sensors (fr/rr). He claimed they were both on the drivers side and easy to pop-in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pau

How odd. Are your pads new, or worn? If the sensors weren't replaced when pads were, they should have been. If they're worn, replacing the sensors won't fix them.

In many states, cars cannot be sold unless they pass a state brake inspection even if transferred between private individuals. Evidence of the successful inspection is required before the state will title and register the car.

You might pursue this a bit.

I hope you don't need surgery soon. If your doctor is like your dealer, he'll just hand you the scalpel.

They are easy to pop in but they will last a day if you're lucky if you install them on worn pads.. The other sensors went off for a reason. next stop you'll be replacing rotors due to the damages... Don't mess around with you brakes it could get expensive especially for you since you do not appear to be a DIY'er.

It is a waste of time to change the sensor if you have worn pads.

here is a link on brake jobs

if you have new pad the sensors are cheap.
