2000 S500 Nav Cd
i have a 2000 s500 actual production year is 9/98. i bought the car without the nav cd's, and i was planning on purchasing the updated cd's and the question i have is which ones do i buy C or D?

You most likely have C , here is how to tell.
Press the Detour ( “ DETR” ) button on the COMAND upper-right keypad. The C navi has only the “Traffic Jam” option. The D navi has both the “Traffic Jam” as well as the “Detour in Route” option.

does your NAVI system show streets and go beyond 0.10 miles scale?
unlike our BMW, my MB navi doesn't show where i am currently unless i input an address and it's en route. it also doesn't show many streets as the scale still is too at 1/10th of mile...that's the lowest it will go.
am i doing something wrong, or are the older NAVI just like this and thus why people don't like it?
