Can 2004 S600 Comand DVD play DVD-MP3's?
Hi, am looking at a 2004 S600. Can the Comand unit on it play DVD-MP3s on it?
Wondering whether it displays the songs on the screen, allows you to navigate folders and lets you switch songs via the steering wheel?
(Not CD-MP3s but DVD-MP3s - same concept but just hold 4.5Gb of songs instead of 800Mb, to listen to via the stereo.
Its just a DVD you have burned on your computer with all the MP3's in a folder structure - *not* video's)
I searched through the threads and found the 2003 S600 cannot, but the 2005 can (how-to guide from a member) - no mention of the 2004 though.

there is however a 999 file/folder limit but I am using a DVD with appox 985 files on it and it plays well.
Thech my numerous posts about this in the Audio section of the forum
