Compressor noise maybe?

Compressor noise maybe?
Got a quick question the car has been making this noise for about 3 years so i dont think it is the air compressor since it has never gone out over 3 years.
when the compressor turns on to raise the car you can clearly hear the motor. but when i drive i am hearing a slight hum noise it is driving me nuts anyone know what that can be it sounds like it is coming from my passenger side in the back seat.
any ideas?
