2001 S500
Removing Fake AMG badges

ok, so the idiot i bought me 2001 s500 from put on a Fake AMG badge on it and i want to take it off because it looks ridiculous. Does anyone know how to take it off with removing the paint? o yeah its on the back across from where the real S500 badge is.

Don't forget a little bit of heat to go with the floss, get some wax and some adhesive remover to finish the job. It really isn't that big a deal i wouldn't worry about the paint.

I think its ok , If its a S500 sport. It kind of is called the amg package..

had this problem myself, just use "goo gone" or some other aforementioned adhesive remover...

take it to a body shop have them take it off for like 20 bucks, i scratched mine once and regretted it (luckily when the dealer did my rust repairs, they repainted the trunk lol!!!)

thanks for the replys, im going to try the goo gone and if that doesn't work, i'll take it to a body shop.
