no sound from speakers.
Hi there I have a questions . My factory sound system powers on and everything seems to be working except there is no sound, sometimes it comes on, everything works just fine radio, navi and tape . whenever there is no sound it won't recognize cd changer, ( it says NO CD CHANGER ) . Does
anyone had this before ????

It sounds as if the fiber optic connection at your CDC is loose. It's the one with bright orange leads. Disconnection of those leads can cause your bus (fiber optic loop, which is connected to your COMAND) to lose all input from everything on it - including your amp.
You might check all of the fiber optic connections, but start with the CDC. The phone bulletins at http://home.earthlink.net/~phdwebsit..._bulletins.htm will help you locate components and connectors.
The loose connector would not explain the slow playback you described. If the CDC has gone down altogether, it could take out the rest of the loop; you'd have to bypass the CDC until you replaced it, to get your other audio back.
