Tints
I've been looking into tints but have no idea, how much % to get and all that.
I heard only illegal tints look good rofl?
I dont want too dark, but i want something nice inbetween.
Any Tips or Ideas, as Well as prices it costed to tint your.

I just walked in the house after having the windows on my newly acquired S600 tinted. The owner of the shop was trying to convince me to go 35% on the sides and 20% on the back window, saying that it would look classier (my car is black/black). I decided to go 20% all the way around instead, which is not legal (35% on the sides is legal). I am very happy with my decision and think that 35% is too light (I had 35% on my E500 with a gray interior and it was too light). You do lose the warranty with the 20% on the side windows due to it being "illegal", but I am not too worried about warranty issue since I went with the top-of-the-line 3M film. The total cost was $325. Good luck.

Im wondering If 20% isnt too dark
, I got a Silver one so i dont want it to be super dark, just smthnig nice.

Windshield : Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows : Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows: Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.

Everyone has tints here anyways..

I'd go limo 8%, just got it done on my silver S430 with black rims and it looks hot. Yeah its illegal but Ive been riding around with limo tint on my other cars for years, never been pulled over. Maybe I'm just lucky !!! 130$

Could it be the film manufacturer? Actually your pic with the black rims looks a lot darket than the pic with the AMG's is that the same tint?
BTW.. Cover your plate when posting pics on the web before someone tells you where you live...

This is 20% tint in bright sunlight...I don't know what that is you have but its much lighter than mine...

it could be the manufacturer I know for a fact its 20% ...and the tint is exactly the same from the pic with the amgs again the day i took these pics it was with my treo and it was very foggy that day....

on my front windows if got 35% on my rear passangers side ive got one layer of 20% and on top of that i have one layer of 5% tint as well. so iv got 2 layers making it as dark as possible.. on the rear winshield i had the same setup as the rear passanger windows but it was impossible to see so i took of the 5% tint and just left the 20% on!! it looks good..executive style

I think a benz looks good with even tint all the way around,i have 35 bronze on all windows it reflects the tan interior well. In the sun you see the bronze color at night it looks smoke color kinda cool.

i got 20% all around and the only reason u can see through is because the windshield is huge n not tinted, i think if u were to tint it they all would be dark n less see through, just my $.2

Ok To Clarify this..
ALL AROUND means every window right?
Im going tommorow to 212Motoring for my tints.
