I have the same problem in the Passenger seat. Can somebody help us about this issue ?

I checked MBZ of Monterey, and as I found out in 2008, this part is not a separate part. You buy the seat frame and it comes with it!!! My auto body shop made me an exact copy (from the other seat) out of much tougher steel. Thats about the only way I can think of. I still don't know what to call the piece. About 4 inches long by 2 inches wide, and screws (2) into the seat frame. Then the plastic cover goes on (of course you have to take the seat belt off) and (a) there is a screw under the back of the seat and (b) it snaps onto this clip that I had made.Pete.

Personally I say just get the wood trim cover off eBay
