Does anyone know if the Siemens 315 MHz tire pressure sensor can be mixed with the Beru 315 MHz sensors. In other words, is the receiver specific to the sensor or just to the transmitting frequency. I believe the stock system on my 04 S430 is Beru but they are using Siemems sensors on the latest S-Class. Are they interchangable?

Yes they are interchangeable. The BERU and Siemens sensors are basically the same sensor inside and out. The only difference is that Siemens have the benz logo on them and are licensed to supply all Benz cars.. whereas the BERU are sold aftermarket in most applications. But they are the same.
You can get BERU for about 80 bucks each from tirerack.
IMO if you have one sensor bad the others are going to follow shortly so I would just replace the set and be done with it. I had this issue on my 04 as well so the OEM sensors don't last that long.
