This morning at 8:00 AM, I got a call from the MB dealer stating that MBUSA has agreed to cover the cost of repairs 100%. I'm to bring the car in on the 15th of March. Thank you, thank you MB!!!!!
I had taken the car to the dealer for a very minor steering linkage repair. The scheduler ask me if I had noticed the rust. I said, I didn't know that was rust, it looks like I was hit by a grocery cart. He stated that it was rust, just starting, and that they could help with the cost of it.
Like you, I had my doubts. No more! My next car will also be the S-Class! Frankly, I can't stand the thought of driving anything else. I drove a loaner with 200,000 miles. It was so solid, I would not be afraid to drive it to CA and back.
