2004 S600
tire presure monitor visit workshop

bought the beast with this issue what does it take to correct it , all the codes say isthat the tire sensor (drivers rear ) has a low battery. ps its super cold here right now

YOu can replace the bad one or do yourself a favor and replace them all.They will all need to be replaced sooner than later. The 2003/4 cars were the years the W220 went to 315MhZ (standard) sensors and the batteries don't last anywhere near five ears as advertised. its more like 3..
You can get a set from Tirerack for around $350.. or shell out $150 each from the dealer. I think discount tire carries them now also but I don't know their pricing.

tire sensor

How do you tell which sensor is bad?
I have the same issue. You get the error msg, but afterwards it displays the tire pressure like nothing is wrong. More of a nuisance rather than a problem, but would like to only replace the bad one if possible.

OiIn my manual it talks about this sensor, but i cant even find it in my car..

Thats because your car doesn't have TPMS.. it was an option in that year
