Tinting 2005 S430L - How?

I need to tint a 2005 S430L.

It has the electric sun shade on the rear window, and the manual pull up blinds on the rear side windows.

I been reading on here that felt needs to be applied, so that the tint doesn't get scratched. Why on earth doesn't Mercedes have felt to begin with?

How exactly and where should the felt be applied?

I am in Perth, Australia. Any advice on who can tint the car properly?

thanks

Car glass is much harder than the tint film , so there's no need for factory felt installation. Go for a MADICO tint dealer/installer ,it's by far the best. I have tinted with 3M and LLUMAR in the past and from that experience MADICO is superior.
The felt is applied to the inner window slider and is an easy application for the installed. DON'T install tints without felt, as they 're going to be scratched and look miserable... Good luck !!
