Question for those of you who are lowered...

so i went to john the other day and got the front lowered more...my question is...
if im making a turn and hit a bump...im worried that it might hit the fender and either dent it or chip the paint...am i too low or am i just being too paranoid...any help is appreciated...

Its hard to say. I am using John's system as well.. BUT I left about 1 fingergap in the front just for my own security an taste.....

I guess to be sure you can turn your wheel as far right and left as it will go and check the clearance from a stand still it should not hit anything especially in the front wheel arches. if it does, then you are a bit too low.. And i'd be careful of that because you are getting close to busted shock territory.

Also I insist on running my car in SP2 mode because I like it as stiff as possible. The "advantage" to this in your case would be that if you hit a bump, you car is not going to bounce nearly as much as it would with the sport mode off.

Like I said. I like a sporty hug the road kind of ride so I rarely roll out of the firmest setting.

I think its asking too much to have a car that low then want a cushy ride. Stiffen her up and you should be okay...

does it snow in vancouver?youve had rims all year round

thanks for the help guys..i guess im being a little paranoid...s500man yea it snows here but not that much...maybe like 8 days in total all year...and during those times i just leave the s in the garage...no point in taking the wheels off...speaking of wheels i just got bends repaired...and put them back on and to my surprise three rims were leaking air!....turns out they need to be re sealed and re tightened...stupid 3 peice!

yours appears to be about the same height as mine. I dont have any problems at all. I do use the 1st setting for the suspension though. The ride is looking good!

depends on the offset of your wheels but on my car, i have it lowered slightly lower than yours and have not hit the fender yet. knock on wood

damn i love your car...SO clean!!! good work i think ill be fine...i have the stockers on right now and i guess the fat tire is just scaring me lol...stupid leaking 3 peice wheels! should have them back thursday morning from re-sealing

juding from the pics, i dont think you'd have any problem at all.

my car is lower than yours and i've never had any problems with the fender.
