how would you handle
30 days ago I went to my dealer with a car that vibrated between 60-80. They informed me my OZ Racing rims were bent (one). They said they would take care of it. My service advisor quit, the service manager quit, and today I went to see what was going on and they buffed the chrome off the three wheels that were fine (scratches), the bent rim was still bent (never repaired), and basically I need to rechrome 3 of the four and they are not sure if the bent rim can even be fixed.
Here is what they offered me, I can buy any Rim at thier cost (not a huge mark up) or they will let me buy a set of AMG with new tires for 1000. The AMG are not Chrome (what they call Take Offs).
The OZ were never damaged nor did I ever ask them to buff off the chrome, the bent rimm remains bent (my problem) I went in thinking worst case I would replace one rim ($549) and a tire ($250) if it cannot be fixed, now I either pay to have the rims re chromed or take the AMG's at $1000. I could use your assistance and information.

sounds like your dealing with dumb and dumber!
if you like the look of the amg's buy them. the cost difference isn't that much. try to get something else out of the deal...ie. free service.

if that happened to me i would go loco and then shoot someone up.. well not that serious.. lol
but if i were you i woiuld start making some phone calls..
also if that were me those phone calls would go to hitmen..!! if thats the kinda service mercedes offers nationwide and it seems like it according to s55inPA's response then even I am going to stop suggesting the s600 for my dad and go full speed with the new LS or 7 series..

do u mean the multi spoke wheels, I would make alot of noise then I would ask for the MB rep for that area and call him and make more noise, then see what they offer u, just make sure u know what u want
